Senior Manager of Installation Support

Rockwood Shutters is searching for an experienced, positive and energetic Senior Manager of Installation Support to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, fun environment. This position will be responsible for proactive oversight and support of our field contract technician who install interior shutters, blinds, shades and decorative barn doors in homes across the country. We currently have a full-time opportunity available.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sourcing Manager on recruitment of top quality field technicians to support and expand our coverage network.
  • Establish processes to limit the unexpected issues of the day but with protocols for successful outcomes when things do arise.
  • Oversight of the contractor network providing coaching and feedback to develop best practices.
  • Assist the escalations team as needed to create hero solutions.
  • Liaison with manufacturing and other internal areas to share direct field feedback with the goal of transparency and quality control improvements.
  • Identify key metrics of success and monitor results.

Purchasing / Materials Coordinator

Rockwood Shutters is searching for an experienced, positive and energetic Purchasing / Materials Coordinator with a strong purchasing and materials background in a manufacturing facility. There are 2 aspects to this position: purchasing manufacturing inputs (including components) and managing placement in production. We currently have a full-time opportunity available.

Your Responsibilities

As Purchasing Coordinator-

  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities involved in purchasing manufacturing inputs
  • Identify potential new suppliers for evaluation and qualification
  • Communicate with production to assure purchased material meets specifications and delivery requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers on inventory and movement of products and materials
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned by management

As Materials Coordinator –

  • Establish and implement processes to minimize waste in production
  • Participate in monthly cycle counts, including calculation of material square footage on hand
  • Inventory monitoring of raw materials
  • Track internal and external inventory of finished goods
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external production material needs
  • Maintain Bill of Material and costs for products
  • Update daily analysis of open orders

Candidate Qualities and Job Requirements

  • Bilingual
  • Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience negotiating with vendors is essential
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred)
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Detail oriented and consistent
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability toeffectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Your Responsibilities 

  • Efficiently place outbound phone calls to our customers for the purpose of scheduling Technical and/or Installation appointments for our contractor partners; efficiently monitoring deliveries and manage calendars.
  • Experience in calendar scheduling.
  • Establish rapport with Customers, providing timely and prompt resolutions while ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction
  • Provide technical product and program information to Customers
  • Detailed and accurate electronic data entry and processing of paperwork
  • Provide prompt and timely communication and follow-up with Customers to ensure a high level of service
  • Provide accurate documentation and communicate to technicians all pertinent information for scheduled appointments
  • Ensure effective follow-through for all outstanding work orders in assigned geographical area
